PRINTING FAQS

 

PRICING: Pricing depends on the number of ink colors, total quantity of prints, size/type of paper, and any pre-press or finishing work that needs to be done. Request a quote here.

ART REQUIREMENTS: Artwork must be designed at the intended size for the final print and must be at least 300-600 DPI in resolution. We accept the following file formats: .psd, .ai, .pdf

If you are separating your own layers, include an original full color version of the art in addition to your layered file.

We are able to prepare files for print, however a pre-press fee may apply depending on the complexity of the design. If you have questions, please contact us.

PRINT SIZE: Our Risograph machine can accept paper up to 11 x 17". We cannot print full bleed, and your art must include a 1/4"-1/2" border. We are able to print any size below these dimensions as well as trim down for full bleed, but a finishing fee may be applied for custom dimensions, folding, stapling, or other finishing needs.

PRINT MINIMUMS: Our minimum is a total of 25 prints per order. If you have any specific quantity needs, please ask.

TURNAROUND: Turnaround depends on the scale of the project and how busy the studio is at that time. However, most jobs can be completed within 1-2 weeks (Please allow an extra week or so for zine projects). A few extra days for shipping should be considered when placing an order outside of Fort Collins, CO.​​​
